CULINARY TIPS : Balance your morning coffee
Chaga powder can be integrated in many recipes but it is most powerful when used to balance or replace your morning coffee or tea. You can pour one teaspoon of chaga powder (or 2 if you prefer stronger tea) into a regular tea diffuser and let the powder steep for at least 5 minutes to obtain a nice chaga tea. The longer you let it steep the more bioactive ingredients will be extracted. The same principles can be applied when preparing your chaga coffee. Simply add 1 teaspoon of chaga powder to your coffee. The alkalinity of the chaga and the acidity of the coffee balance each other out for the perfect start of a balanced day.
